Spotify Favs
I'm gonna be sharing with you some of my favourite podcasts and songs.
When life goes out of tune, sing anyway.
First off, my all time fav podcast:
Gee Thanks is podcast about everything really. It's presented by two sisters Georgia and Lily. They give great advice and tell stories from their own experience. They're really funny girls who are so underrated. They upload their main episode every Wednesday and mini episodes with just one of them every Sunday.
Next up The Secret's Out.
The Secret's Out is a podcast where each episode Alfie Deyes (the host) sits down with a celebrity (or celebrities) and talks about secrets. The secrets are sent in from their viewers so they can be quite weird (to say the least). I like this podcast but sometime the secrets can be a lil too weird for me. Another reason this isn't my favourite is he doesn't have a consistent upload schedule. But this is a nice podcast if you are looking for something a lil out there but chill.
Now I'll tell you some of my favourite songs. For someone who loves music I find it really hard to find songs I like. The second I find I song I like it's all I play and then I ruin it for myself. If your searching for some new songs to listen to here are some of my favs:
So this is a pretty unheard of album. You may not recognise this one: Sour by Olivia Rodrigo.
Of course I'm being sarcastic :) Olivia's been blowing up! I love all her songs. Remember her Bizaardvark days? That show was my childhood. Some of my favourite songs from her album are Brutal, Jealousy Jealousy and Favourite Crime. Honestly they're all bops. I definitely recommend checking this out if you haven't already.
This song is pretty old but I still like it.
Don't Blame Me by Taylor Swift. I love Taylor! She's such an inspiration and her music is amazing. She has a great talent of telling her stories through her music. She is such a resilient women.
So this artist is pretty small (for real this time).
Apricots by MAY-A is a real nice relaxing song that always puts me in a good mood. She is so underrated and deserves WAY more attention. You can tell she puts a lot of effort into her lyrics. I don't know much about her, but her music is beautiful.
I really love the message behind this one.
Boys will be boys by Dua Lipa. I feel like this is so powerful. She expresses her views and opinions on sexism through this song and she points out real problems and where they stem from.
So that's all it. If you wanna part two lemme know in the comments (I have way more favs that I didn't mention). I'd also love to hear some of your fav songs and podcasts. Have a lovely day.
Happy writing.
